Putting Cursor In Form Field Automatically

Posted by  Str82u
A quick addition to the code of www.freepeoplesearch.us causes the cursor to already be blinking inside the first text input area found on each page, that is the "First Name:" field of an advertiser's creative, which hopefully draws the attention of the site visitor resulting in an click through. The code itself was validated for HTML 4.01 after insertion, all the pages are .htm without much in the way of fancy.

If you can use this as is, you can copy and paste the above without formatting problems. Without saying , this code is going to a few other sites, why it's not there already is a mystery, where the old code went is equally confusing.

If your pages are optimized for both search engines and ad placement plus are usable and relevant, you can maximize the traffic from a marketing and SEO standpoint because you can also increase your page views if the landing page isn't quite what the user is looking for but another is and can be clearly navigated to thus displaying another presentation of affiliate offerings.

Update To Last Post: Early morning results are showing about a 12% return on investment (ROI). Reporting for one advertiser takes a minimum 2-3 hours so ROI is expected to be higher in the final analysis. The budget for the day was raised enough to continue running under observation but without allowing for some freak run on clicking that will blow the piggy bank, and really, for this one we are talking about pocket change. White pages were doing about what was expected while the harder to reach "cheap seats" are still increasing impressions, just not showing clicks. Cheap seats in this comment are when you can pay 10 cent or less per click for position 1-3 text ads for high competition niche phrases.
